Over the years, I’ve worked with thousands of expectant mothers, each with a unique story and a one-of-a-kind bump. Behind every glance, I’ve seen emotions like nervousness, joy, anticipation, and worry... pregnancy truly is one of life’s biggest events.

Watching babies grow on the ultrasound screen is a simple, pure beauty of life. And behind every beautiful moment is a mother’s love and sacrifice. For every woman, no matter how many times she’s been pregnant, it’s always a journey filled with mixed emotions. Both moms and dads naturally have many questions about the experience.

I’m grateful to be an expert in this field, and many parents who come to my clinic ask questions that I believe others might care about, too. So here, I’ll be sharing medical knowledge about pregnancy, the fetus, and newborns to help moms gain more understanding and ease their worries.

When I had my first baby and took maternity leave, I went through pregnancy myself and became a mom. It gave me deeper insights into the questions I had often been asked. I kept wondering how I could share this information with moms-to-be who might face similar questions or concerns. Finally, I thought I could try using my humble drawing skills to make these topics easier—and maybe even a bit more humorous—to understand.
